The Sidewinder Country Music Festival announced today that the inaugural event, originally scheduled for April 25-26 at WestWorld of Scottsdale, will be postponed due to strategic restructuring.

No new date has been announced.

Etzel Entertainment President Tom Etzel says, “All of our corporate and community partners have been very supportive as we pause this month’s Sidewinder. We appreciate the support of our fans and artists during this transition and are excited to reboot the festival for everyone in the Arizona community.”

The inaugural Sidewinder festival had assembled an intriguing lineup topped by country hitmakers as big as Sara Evans, David Nail and Gloriana. From there, the bill ranged from the Southern-rock swagger of outlaw-country offspring Shooter Jennings to the country swing of the Time Jumpers featuring Vince Gill, and the great Steve Earle, an acclaimed singer-songwriter whose appeal extends well beyond country.

All ticket buyers will be refunded the full amount of their transactions.
